As a retired librarian, the look of this appealed to me. I expected there to be some pressed wood and/or cardboard pieces but I was pleasantly surprised by how similar this actually is to the old card catalogs that we had in the library at one time.

This is a very nice piece and well worth the price. It is very sturdy and well made. This is all wood, even the drawer bottoms and the back are wood; no skimping on materials here. The unit is completely assembled, easily slides right out of the box and is ready for use.

This, in my opinion, is more than a media rack, it's a nice piece of furniture.
