WELL...this is a great dresser for only $129.99, which is exactly the price I was planning on spending (weird how that worked out). It is made of particle board, but as anyone who has purchased particle board furniture in the past knows, there is nothing wrong with particle board (as long as you laminate something attractive over the top). It's stronger than plywood, which is probably due to the fact that it's mostly glue. I did have one piece that was broken and unusable, the bottom of one of the drawers, but the website was easy to navigate and the replacement part order form was simple to fill out. No charge on shipping since it was their fault (one of their workers packed a broken board into my box), and the item was shipped within 24 hours and arrived within 3-5 business days, just like they said it would.

It was very simple to put together and the instructions were easy to "read" (there are no words in the instructions, only pictures, so you don't technically read them). Yes, there are a lot of drawers, but if you get those out of the way first the rest goes pretty quickly. The sliders for the drawers are non-removable, meaning once you screw the drawers on, you can't get them back off again without a screwdriver, but they operate smoothly and don't have any parts that could easily break, unlike with my last dresser where the tracks started to bend and the wheels could no longer ride on the rails...you get my point. I also agree with another reviewer who said the handles suck. They are a very cheap quality plastic that look and feel...cheap. I will be replacing them with some nice shiny metal handles as soon as I can.
