I originally stumbled across this item on a different website, where it was approximately $70 cheaper (however, it would have taken a week or two to ship, versus Amazon Prime shipping). I was going to buy it at the original site, but they sold out just as I was purchasing it, and I found it on Amazon. The other review is correct, that there are no words with the instructions. However, as someone who has built their own furniture a number of times (from various stores), this was not a problem. It looked to be more daunting than it was. (I'd separate out all the pieces and then get started).

Assembly was fairly straight-forward, though at one point I did have a friend help me just to make sure that the top piece lined up and to make the process easier. However, I absolutely could have assembled this alone, no problems at all.

Finished, it looks absolutely gorgeous and I love it more than I thought I would. This rack does hold all sized bottles, provided that the diameter is 4" - it's currently holding both 1.5 L and Champagne bottles in addition to the standard bottle. While the rack is designed to hold 16 bottles, 4 on each shelf in each slot, I actually have it currently holding more (I just replaced a rack that held 14 and I'm paring down). I wouldn't count on it holding more, necessarily, but it was a nice surprise (the rest more on the wooden slats than in the holes). I'll be uploading a photo if I can. I'm more than happy with my purchase and I'd make it again!
