This is a very cheap wicker-type mat, like a door mat, not a rug. The product information says "Innately soft and durable". This mat is as soft as sandpaper attached to a brick. I won't walk on it in bare feet because I'm worried about getting a splinter or something. It also says there is a 100% cotton backing but there is no backing. It is already starting to flake apart so I doubt this will be durable. This would have been more fairly priced at maybe $30.

simplehuman 38L Steel Bar Rectangular Step Can - Stainless Steel Review

This can came packaged beautifully like a Mac computer. (I got mine from the place with three B's...) It is by far the most beautiful trash can I have seen in my life.

This is the first time I have ever spent this much money on a trash can, but here is the reasoning behind my decision to take the plunge:
First of all we spend all these dollars on our kitchens buying stainless steel appliances and expensive counter tops and cabinets. A very nice trash can should also complement the kitchen. I have been to half million+ $$$ houses that will have a very nice kitchen, but a cheap un-attractive poorly functioning trash can. The tacky white bags hanging down the sides don't help either. Not with this can.
This particular trash can will most definitely have your guests swooning and wanting one for themselves! Not only is it exceptionally handsome, ...it's operation is smooth and like a dream.

Hands free of course, and when the pedal is pushed all the way down then released, the top comes silently floating down with no noise. When it is partially pressed down, the control for the lid does not engage. It's your choice how you want the lid to come down. Also there is a button that you switch if you want the lid to stay up, which is what I do when I am preparing a meal because I am constantly putting something in the trash so why mess with opening and closing the lid.

The fingerprint free finish is high quality and looks much better than most fingerprint free finishes I've seen which tend to be darker looking than real stainless and a bit rough feeling. The bag tucks easily around the plastic insert can which is slightly angled for ease of putting the bag on. No bag shows from outside the can.

The foot pedal is super high quality with very smooth operation.

I like that you can put a charcoal filter in it.

Overall I am thrilled with my new trash can, and I'm glad I was brave enough to splurge! It's almost too pretty to be called a trash can!
The 10 year warranty is also a huge plus.
No regrets here!

Supreme Cheese Making Kit Review

Absolutely a horrible purchase. I bought this for my son who loves and is very interested in cooking and wanted to start making cheese. I spent a lot of money in the product and you can't even make 1/4th of the cheese the product claims to be able to make, unless you spend another a lot more money in extra ingredients, you can only make butter, cottage cheese, and mozzarella. The worst part is that you can buy all the products that come with this kit for only $70 dollars. Truly a scam and if you're looking for a kit for making cheese this is the last product I would recommend.
