I bought the 10 inch and 8 inch. The 10 inch is definitely softer and I like it more. However for the guest room this is a great bed. Much higher quality than the price would suggest. It is a great mattress for a spare or your regular bed. However, if you can swing a few more bucks, go for the 10 inch.

I was shocked by how comfortable these mattresses are. If you feel with your hand along the sides, you can feel the spring coils inside. Also, the edges of the bed collapse a little when you sit on it, so don't expect a super firm support if you're sitting on the sides. Laying on the bed, however, is heaven. It is soft, yet firm enough to not sink in. We are in Florida and while I didn't feel cold, I certainly didn't get too warm in the bed either.

I have moved from state to state frequently over the past several years, so I buy a lot of mattresses from Amazon. I am a single woman and hauling heavy furniture is not my thing. Having it delivered to my door is the only way i ever buy beds anymore. Prior to this purchase I have been using the Lucid memory foam mattresses sold on Amazon. I was happy with them, but I feel like this is my new mattress choice for sure. I will update after I've used this for a while. So far, it is wonderful.
