I like this fan, It moves a lot of air for it's size and the amount of amps it uses. I have a business; when people's houses flood, we come over and dry them out. So far I have not used the fan to help dry out any homes yet. I have tested the fan and it is a strong one. It makes more noise than I would like, but that's okay.

Sometimes people write things into the directions of products that are just plain stupid. Well this fan's directions say that I should never use the fan "unsupervised". So say we have to use the fan to help dry out someone's carpet in their home or business; we can't stay there and supervise this fan for days while the carpet drys. So I either don't use the fan for my needs or I pretend I never saw that in the directions. I think this fan will do a great job for me but they should rewrite the directions for people that don't have the time to sit around supervising fans. They could write something like.... keep small children and pets away from it or keep the fan and cord dry.
