I was reluctant to purchase chairs on line, but gave in to the convenience. Searched for a long time for just the right chairs, and was unable to find them, so I decided to take matters in to my own hands....and was so happy I did. These chairs arrived quickly, and required assembly - no biggie...they are very comfortable and substantial. I very easily sanded the "cherry" seats, and stained them a walnut shade to match my table, and it made a nice chair look like a very expensive gorgeous chair from Pottery Barn or William-Sonoma...added some felt pads to the bottom of the legs and am thrilled with the look and quality for the price.
