I bought this as a mothers day gift for my wife. She wanted a special box to keep our kids momentos in. While the box looks really neat and unique, I am a little disappointed with the quality of the box. The wood is much thinner than I expected and the hinges are kinda weak. It looks great, arrived from the company quickly and in perfect condition, BUT I don't think the price for this flimsy box is worth what I paid for it ($108 PLUS shipping). Maybe worth $40-50 at most.

I ordered it from another site for a little more than from Amazon. There are three versions: grey with clear glass, black with clear glass (which I ordered), and black gloss with black glass. It took me almost two hours to finish the assembly. After it is finished, it looks very nice.

But there is a problem. The omnimount company site has specifications on this G363, which state the heights of the spaces between the three glasses, excluding the metal structure, are 7.87" (20.00 cm) and 7.13" (18.10 cm). But these are measures without taking the thickness of the glasses into account. The effective heights you can use after installing the glasses are about half an inch shorter. Since the standard DVD case is 7.5" tall, I thought I could put them into the top shelf but they actually don't fit in. I have an amplifier that is 7" high, which I planned to put in the middle of the bottom shelf. But I had to replace the original feet of the amplifier by shorter ones to make it fit into the space. These were unexpected surprises. But overall this TV stand looks very nice and sturdy.

My stand came with the top glass scratched and the company shipped a replacement for free. So I have an extra glass now.

My mom told me weeks ago she didn't want a Mother's Day gift; she's moving and is eliminating all the clutter in her life. I felt lousy not getting her anything, but I'm all about following instructions. A few days ago she mentioned she was in the market for a new cat quilt for her bed in her new home and that she'd appreciate if I'd be on the lookout for such. She doesn't get on the interwebs all that often so I figured I could safely search and find her a nice housewarming/belated Mother's Day gift. There aren't too many cat quilt options out there; this was one of the nicest and more reasonably priced. I ordered this the Tuesday (or Wednesday) before Mother's Day and expected it wouldn't arrive until after the holiday. It arrived today so it's not at all belated.

It's a very pretty, well-crafted quilt. The dark colors and print will help mask the real cat fur distributed by her pets. It will also go with a variety of paint colors and curtains so she's got many options in decorating her new bedroom.
